BOC Aviation posts operational data for the first quarter 2016

BOC Aviation announced its operational transactions for the first quarter 2016, ended March 31. BOC Aviation had a portfolio of 271 owned and managed aircraft, with an average aircraft age of 3.2 years and an average remaining lease term of 7.3 years for owned aircraft fleet, weighted by net book value. The order book of 232 aircraft averaging 40 aircraft a year over the period from 2016 to 2021. The company took delivery of 13 aircraft (including three acquired by airline customers on delivery) and signed 32 lease agreements. The customer base consists of 62 airlines in 31 countries in the owned and managed portfolios. BOC Aviaiton sold seven aircraft and committed to purchase four aircraft on purchase and leaseback terms. The managed fleet was steady in the first quarter at 41 aicraft.
