HAECO Xiamen signs collaboration agreement with Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education

HAECO Technical Training reported that an agreement has been signed between HAECO Xiamen and the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), to provide basic HKAR-147 aircraft maintenance practical training for IVE students in HAECO Xiamen, starting in September. Under the new agreement, IVE will send a batch of around 40 students studying for a Higher Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering to HAECO Xiamen in September each year. They will undergo 12 weeks of basic practical training in aircraft maintenance, and HAECO instructors will be authorised by IVE to be HKAR-147 practical instructors. Over the years, the HAECO Technical Training facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen have contributed to the development of a large number of aircraft engineering professionals who serve both the Group’s and the aviation industry’s needs in the Asia Pacific region.
