Xiamen Airlines selects GEnx engine to power Boeing 787 Dreamliners

Xiamen Airlines signed an agreement with GE Aviation at the Airshow China 2016 to select GEnx-1B engine to power its additional six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Xiamen Airlines also expanded a TrueChoice Material agreement for the new GEnx-1B fleet for the new and used material and advance repairs needed for engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services. The engine order and TrueChoice Material agreement are valued at more than US$630m at list price and over the life of the contract. Delivery of these aircraft will begin by year-end.
