GAMECO endorsed as A380 Centre of Excellence in China

Airbus endorsed GAMECO as “A380 Center of Excellence in China”, in recognition of the outstanding MRO work performed by GAMECO on the China Southern A380 fleet. Since the beginning of A380 operation in China in 2011, GAMECO has been always at the forefront, providing state-of-the-art line & base maintenance services including extensive modifications to the existing A380 fleet. As a result China Southern achieved one of the highest A380 dispatch reliability in the industry. GAMECO has the only complete A380 docking system in operation in China. Fourteen C – Checks and twenty six major engineering orders have been executed so far. Right now GAMECO is preparing for the upcoming six years checks (including major cabin refurbishment and painting). GAMECO operates one of the biggest and most modern paint hangars, accommodating the A380 or up to three narrow body aircraft at the same time.
