Boeing delivers 10th 787 Dreamliner to Vietnam Airlines

Boeing and Vietnam Airlines celebrated the delivery of the flag carrier’s 10th 787-9 Dreamliner on Nowember 25th. “Vietnam Airlines is proud to welcome our 10th Boeing 787 Dreamliner on behalf of Vietnam Airlines, only 16 months after we took delivery of the first of these state-of-the-art new aircraft,” said Phan Xuan Duc, Executive Vice President of Vietnam Airlines. “The 787 is one of the keys to our fleet expansion plans, and plays a vital role in enabling us to offer customers four-star quality of service and establish Vietnam Airlines among the leading carriers in Asia.” The airline took delivery of its first 787 Dreamliner in July 2015 and has nine more 787s on order.
