EL AL Israel Airlines presented financial results for third quarter 2016

El Al reported that revenues in the third quarter of 2016 amounted to approx. US$644m, compared to approx. US$647m in the third quarter of the previous year. Gross profit in the third quarter of 2016 amounted to US$173m, compared to approx. US$ 209m in the third quarter of the previous year. Profit before tax in the third quarter of 2016 totaled US$93m, compared to a profit of US$1m in the third quarter of last year. Net profit totaled US$70m compared to a profit of US$93m in the third quarter of the previous year. EBITDA amounted to US$142m, compared to US$173m in the third quarter of 2015. EBITDAR amounted to US$180m, compared to US$193m in the third quarter of last year. The Company’s cash and deposit balances as of September 30, 2016 totaled US$219m.
