AEI to convert third MD-80 series passenger-to-freighter conversion for Everts Air Cargo

Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) will be converting a third MD-80 series passenger-to-freighter conversion for Fairbanks, Alaska based Everts Air Cargo. The MD-83 aircraft (MSN 53079) will commence modification on December 19th and will be re-delivered to Everts Air Cargo in April 2017. Everts Air Cargo will use the MD-83SF for seasonal demand in Alaska, and on-demand business in North America. Commercial Jet’s Dothan, Alabama facility will perform the modification and maintenance requirements on the aircraft.
