Norwegian takes delivery of its first Airbus 320neo

Norwegian’s subsidiary Arctic Aviation Assets (AAA) has taken delivery of its first ever Airbus aircraft. This is the first of 70 A320neos that the Norwegian Group has on order. It is also the first of 12 A320neos that will be leased to Hong Kong carrier HK Express. Norwegian also plans to become an Airbus operator in the near future; earlier this year, AAA placed a new order of 30 Airbus 321 Long Range aircraft. Eight of these aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in 2019 and the remaining 22 the following two years.
