VAS Aero Services enhances State-Of-The-Art Seattle distribution and logistics center

VAS Aero Services, a global leader in aviation logistics and aftermarket services, announced upgrades and expanded capabilities for its Seattle distribution facility. The distribution and logistics center, a key component in the company’s partnership with The Boeing Company, supports VAS’s surging growth and strategic position in the Pacific Rim region.
The VAS Seattle center integrates Boeing program parts repair and modification services into the state-of-the-art 3PL facility, to speed production parts and materials flight-line deliveries for new Boeing commercial and military aircraft. A 400,000-ft² managed warehouse space features controlled storage for Boeing PC700 production parts. Additionally, the operations center revamp includes a 50,750-ft² Processing Center incorporating Andon lighting controls and visual management monitors for efficient processing of inbound and outbound activities.
