Xiamen Airlines chooses AFI KLM E&M GEnx engine support

AFI KLM E&M and Xiamen Airlines officially finalized an agreement organizing support for the GEnx-1B74/75 engines equipping the Chinese airline’s fleet of Boeing 787-9s, which will ultimately cover a total of six aircraft. Xiamen Airlines, which took delivery of its first 787-9 on December 8th, 2016, is thus growing its relationship with AFI KLM E&M who is already providing Component and Engines Support for the carrier’s six 787-8s. The contract will cover shop visits and the maintenance and spare engine access to guarantee the availability of Xiamen Airlines ‘787-9’ fleet and the seamless continuity of its operations. The maintenance will be performed at AFI KLM E&M’s worldwide-recognized GEnx center of excellence in Amsterdam.
