Vancouver International Airport (YVR) releases final passenger numbers from 2016

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) released its final passenger numbers from 2016, demonstrating significant growth across all major sectors. YVR welcomed a record total of over 22.3 million passengers—an increase of 9.7% over 2015—putting the airport on track to meet the goal of 25 million passengers by 2020. 22.3 million passengers, a 9.7% increase over the same period in 2015
16.5% increase in International traffic
7.6% increase in Domestic traffic
7.4% increase in Transborder (US) traffic
