AerFin complete acquisition of ex-Jet Airways Boeing 737NG

AerFin have completed the acquisition of 737-800, MSN 29041. The Investec Global Aircraft Fund, was the lessor of the aircraft and had been managing the lease of the aircraft to Indian airline operator Jet Airways since 2007. AerFin’s acquisition of the 737NG represents their first aircraft purchase of 2017, and follows on from a successful 2016 which saw the completion of more than 20 acquisitions. AerFin’s Director of Sales and Marketing James Bennett commented ‘This acquisition provides us with an excellent opportunity to build on our support of the 737NG market through a variety of engine and airframe solutions, from component support and PBH programs to leasing and trading’.
