SkyQuest International has acquired one Saab 340A freighter for its client, Ryan Air. The aircraft was purchased from Alandia Air AB based, Finland. Ryan Air — based in Anchorage — services regions in Alaska where the only way to send and receive goods is via air cargo. A familiar sight to remote Alaskan villages, Ryan Air’s aircraft have been in operation for over fifty years. The Saab 340A is a new addition to the company’s fleet of Cessnas, CASA 212s and a Pilatus PC-12.
