Atlas Air worldwide dispatchers ratify labour agreement

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has reported the ratification of a collective bargaining agreement with the dispatchers of its subsidiaries, Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo Worldwide. The dispatchers are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Local 210. The four-year extension agreement follows an initial five-year contract that was ratified in 2012. The agreement includes pay increases, as well as benefits associated with the dispatchers’ relocation to the company’s Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati-area operating hub. The company’s dispatchers are responsible for planning, dispatching, and oversight of all Atlas and Polar aircraft during flight.
