BOC Aviation has reported the delivery of its 500th aircraft comprising aircraft manufactured by Airbus and Boeing. The aircraft was an A320-200 delivered to China Eastern Airlines at the end of April. “This delivery is a significant milestone in our fleet development,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “It is testimony to the strength and experience of our procurement team, our long-standing relationships with original equipment manufacturers and our airline customers over the last 23 years. With an orderbook of 201 aircraft as at March 31, 2017 and a record 79 aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2017, we are well placed to build on this milestone and continue to grow our fleet in the years ahead,” Mr. Martin added.
