Air Canada has reported record second quarter 2017 EBITDAR of CAD$670m compared to the previous second quarter 2016 EBITDAR of CAD$605m, an increase of CAD$65m and consistent with the forecast in Air Canada’s July 6th, 2017 news release. The airline recorded a second quarter EBITDAR margin of 17.1%. On a GAAP basis, Air Canada reported second quarter operating income of CAD$281m versus operating income of CAD$277m in the second quarter of 2016. Air Canada recorded adjusted net income of CAD$215m in the second quarter of 2017 compared to adjusted net income of CAD$203m in the second quarter of 2016. The airline reported second quarter net income of CAD$300m compared to net income of CAD$186m in the second quarter of 2016.
