Allegiant Travel has posted preliminary passenger traffic results for August 2017. Traffic for the month was up 5.3%, while capacity increased 7.2% compared to the previous year. Load factor for August was down 1.5 points to 85.1%.
Hawaiian Airlines has reported its system-wide traffic statistics for the month of August. Traffic for August increased 1% compared to August 2016, while capacity was down 1.1%. The load factor for August was up 1.8 points to 86.2%.
Norwegian carried 3,279,525 passengers in August, an increase of 14% compared to last year. Total traffic increased by 26% in August, driven by a 24% capacity growth. The load factor increased by 1.4 points to 91.1%.
