Sunrise Airways has ordered a next generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft, continuing the Haiti-based carrier’s aggressive expansion. The second jet aircraft to be added to the Sunrise Airways fleet in 2017, the 168-seat Boeing 737 is being acquired through a wet lease agreement with Travel Service, the largest aviation company in the Czech Republic. Sunrise Airways will deploy its new Boeing 737-800 along its new routes to Orlando and Miami from its hub in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Sunrise Airways’ new service to/from Orlando begins October 18, 2017, while its Miami flights launch November 14, 2017.
