Western Aircraft named authorized dealer for SmartSky 4G LTE equipment sales and installation

Another industry leader partners with SmartSky Networks as the nationwide network rollout of SmartSky 4G LTE continues. Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, will serve as an authorized dealer for hardware sales and installation of SmartSky’s innovative technology. Boise, Idaho-based Western Aircraft will sell and install SmartSky equipment across many business jet models using STC licenses obtained from SmartSky’s earliest distribution partners. “Business aviation operators demand all the benefits that 4G LTE air-to-ground (ATG) Wi-Fi can provide,” says Western Aircraft Avionics Sales Manager Walt Marcy. “SmartSky’s technology ensures their aircraft will be fully capable business and communication hubs in the sky.
