United Airlines names Kate Gebo Executive Vice President Human Resources and Labor Relations

United Airlines has named Kate Gebo executive vice president Human Resources and Labor Relations, replacing Mike Bonds, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Gebo will report directly to CEO Oscar Munoz. She currently serves as senior vice president and chief customer officer, where she oversees all of United’s customer-facing teams from booking to landing. Gebo has more than 20 years of airline experience, working in several functions at United, including leading the real estate function to work with airports worldwide to improve the overall customer experience through new facilities and services.
