Skyworld Aviation has come to the end of 2017 with 21 aircraft transactions completed, and 3 further aircraft planned for delivery in the new year, making a total of 547 transactions in total to date. Continuing its success in the ERJ market, the company concluded 9 transactions involving ERJ 145’s in 2017, five of which were straight sales, three sale and leasebacks and one lease purchase. Skyworld Aviation has also kept up the momentum on ATR trading, having completed four ATR 42 sale transactions. Additionally, the Saab 2000 type has been prevalent in its activity, with two lease transactions and an associated lease extension with a European customer. A separate contract for the purchase of three Saab 2000’s has also been penned for delivery in 2018. Other types traded during 2017 include one A320, one CRJ 200, one Jetstream 31 and two spares transactions, including a CFM 56 engine.
