DAE Capital has delivered an Airbus A320-200 aircraft to new customer, Air Guilin on March 1. The delivery took place at the Airbus delivery centre in Toulouse, France.
DAE has agreed to lease two new Airbus A320 family aircraft to the Chinese airline, based at Guilin Liangjiang airport in Guanxi Autonomous Region. The aircraft will come equipped with CFM 56-5B4/3 PIP engines. The second aircraft will be delivered in March and both planes are part of a direct order DAE has with Airbus.
This latest addition to the Air Guilin A320 family fleet will assist the carrier as it looks to capitalize on China’s increasing domestic demand for leisure and business air travel. Air Guilin currently operates Airbus A319 and A320 airplanes and expects to significantly increase their fleet size by the end of 2018.
