TCI has reached an agreement with Donghai Airlines in order to design and manufacture the galleys of their first 10 new B737 Max-8 aircraft orders. The delivery of the aircraft will start in 2019. This agreement has been a critical milestone for TCI as an entrance to Chinese Aviation Market.
Donghai Airlines was established in 2002 as the first private airline in China. It is based at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and serves 41 cities across China and started their first international flight between Shenzhen and Utapao in 2017.
Donghai Airlines has a young fleet of average age of 3 years mostly composed of Boeing B737-800 aircraft serving domestic and international routes. It is also one of the first airlines to introduce Boeing B737 MAX-10 aircraft.
TCI, who is a global supplier of Boeing since 2015, was established as a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Turkish Aerospace Industries in 2011, currently designs and manufactures cabin interior products and galley systems for Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
