Turkish Airlines has launched a brand new wireless In-Flight Entertainment system developed by Turkish engineers in cooperation with Turkish Technic Inc. and Havelsan.
The new entertainment system is now available on the flag carrier's 44 narrow body aircraft via passengers' personal electronic devices.
“We keep striving to make our passengers' entire journey more enjoyable with our passenger satisfaction focused approach. We are pleased to increase the availability of the in-flight entertainment system to 95% of our fleet,” said Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, M. İlker Aycı. “This new system will enable our passengers to connect to the Wi-Fi network via their personal electronic devices, and display the media content, specially designed for this system.”
In addition, passengers will also be able to use the Wireless Entertainment System on their laptops by using the Google Chrome browser. Through this Wireless In-flight Entertainment System, Turkish Airlines' passengers can access more than 250 films, 700 TV Shows, 2,000 music albums, 19,000 songs, and other media content.
