The Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Technik AG has appointed Sören Stark to the Executive Board, effective January 1, 2019. Stark will be responsible for the areas Fleet Services, Base Maintenance, Components, Logistics, IT and Quality Management.
Stark, who holds an advanced degree in industrial engineering, will take over from Dr. Thomas Stüger who is retiring at the end of 2018 after 14 years as a Member of the Executive Board.
The Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Cargo will appoint a successor for Sören Stark in the near future.
Dr. Thomas Stüger will be retiring at the end of this year after over 25 years with Lufthansa Technik. He helped shape the successful course of the company, most notably in advancing its internationalization.
