Eirtech Aviation Services has received another STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) for the removal of all existing Economy Class passenger seats in the main cabin of the aircraft without replacement to achieve a First Class and Business Class only configuration for limited ferry flights. All other elements in the passenger cabin will remain as is. This includes all monuments, emergency equipment and other equipment not related to the economy class passenger seats.
This STC applies to B777-300 aircraft and enables aircraft to be re-positioned via a ferry flight with no Economy Class seats installed. This solution may be of particular interest to airlines and aircraft leasing companies who have B777 aircraft coming to their end of lease date.
