Aero Norway sign agreement to provide engine MRO Services for SAS’ fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft

Norway-based engine MRO facility Aero Norway AS has signed a rolling GTA with repair agreement with SAS Scandinavian Airlines. This covers scheduled and unscheduled engine removals, maintenance, repair and overhaul for their fleet 67 Boeing 737 600/700/800 aircraft equipped with CFM56-7B engines.

Aero Norway has been a CFM approved facility for more than twenty five years, and is multi-release FAA, EASA, TCCA, CAAC, GCAA and DGCA certified which further qualifies its worldwide appeal to operators of CFM engines. The CFM56-5B is the engine choice of the global A320 family due to its high reliability and durability, and the CFM56-7B is exclusively powering the B737 NG – making it the most popular engine combination in commercial aviation.
