Turkish Airlines has signed an agreement with the Turkish systems and software company, HAVELSAN, to buy 5 Full-Flight simulators and 6 Flight Training Devices.
HAVELSAN will produce full-flight simulators with international D-level certification for the Boeing 737MAX and Airbus A320ceo/neo type aircraft.
The agreement means Turkish Airlines will reduce its foreign dependency for technology and boost the domestic market.
HAVELSAN aims to gain a significant place in the world civil simulator production market with the production of Boeing 737MAX and Airbus A320CEO/NEO type simulators.
