Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has appointed Dror Bar as IAI Vice President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ELTA.
Bar was identified as the most suitable candidate, after a long and rigorous search procedure was carried out in accordance with the procedure for appointing a CEO in government-owned companies.
ELTA’s Board of Directors, headed by IAI’s CEO Boaz Levy, unanimously decided to adopt the recommendation of the search committee, led by IAI Chairman Amir Peretz, and appointed Dror Bar to serve as IAI’s VP and CEO of ELTA.
The appointment is subject to the approval of the Appointments Review Committee, Israel’s Minister of Defence and the Minister for Regional Cooperation who heads the Government Companies Authority. Prior to these approvals, the appointment will be considered temporary.
