Moog has signed a 15-year contract with Hawaiian Airlines at the Farnborough International Airshow. The partnership, supported by a Moog Total Support (MTS) agreement, will service Hawaiian's growing Boeing 787 fleet.
The partnership will provide Hawaiian Airlines with global access to the Moog component pool and On-Site Stock units, as well as complete repair support from Moog on a range of part numbers fitted to the airline's 787 fleet.
MTS offers a comprehensive range of support solutions, from proTECT, a fully integrated component spares and maintenance package, to asset-SOLUTIONS, a straightforward asset purchase or time and material transactional repairs. ReNEW™ is designed for end-of-service life operations and introduces extensive repair development and used material to manage cost and obsolescence.
“As Hawaiian Airlines embarks on an exciting expansion phase with our new Boeing 787-9s, we are delighted to partner with Moog to support our fleet servicing needs,” said Thomas Zheng, Vice President of Technical Operations Business Planning and Services at Hawaiian Airlines.
Lisa Domanowski-de Jong, Moog's Commercial Aircraft Aftermarket Group Vice President and General Manager, said, “Moog is excited to sign this agreement and is pleased to form a partnership with Hawaiian Airlines to provide support to their fleet.”
