AJW Group, the independent provider of aircraft component parts, repair, and supply chain solutions to the commercial and defence aviation sectors, has announced the successful launch of a comprehensive power-by-the-hour (PBH) contract with Ascend Airways, which went live last month.
The multi-year agreement will see AJW Group support Ascend Airways' Boeing 737MAX and 737NG aircraft with a tailored support programme, including components and maintenance, repair and overhaul services provided by AJW Technique in Montreal. The company's extensive global network of repair contracts is expected to expand by an additional two to five aircraft per year over the duration of the contract.
Ascend Airways, part of the Avia Solutions Group family, was established in early 2024 to provide locally based aircraft and crew to meet the needs of UK-based airlines, tour operators, charter brokers, government departments, and NGOs.
