TUI Airline has selected AVIATAR's Technical Logbook, Lufthansa Technik's cutting-edge digital platform, for its entire fleet of approximately 130 aircraft. TUI's five airline operations in the United Kingdom, Nordics, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany are already utilising several AVIATAR solutions to manage their fleets. The electronic Technical Logbook (eTLB) now replaces the traditional paper-based process for recording technical issues both on the ground and in the air. With prefilled text blocks and automated input fields, the eTLB eliminates time-consuming manual entries, enhancing data accuracy and transparency.
As a co-developing partner, TUI Airline plays a significant role in Lufthansa Technik's Digital Tech Ops ecosystem. TUI also uses solutions such as AMOS and flydocs, all part of the ecosystem, to optimise its Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) operations. Together, the partners are driving digitalisation, innovation, optimisation and sustainability in tech ops processes for airlines globally.
The strength of the ecosystem lies in its ability to combine software for condition monitoring, data analytics, predictive maintenance, digital records, asset solutions and maintenance & engineering. The new Technical Logbook enables TUI Airline to seamlessly integrate digital collaboration between pilots and maintenance teams, with interfaces connecting all three partners within the Digital Tech Ops ecosystem.
