Flydocs has entered a five-year agreement with Avianca, Latin America's largest airline, to digitise and optimise the records and asset management of its fleet of over 140 aircraft.
As part of this partnership, the airline will implement flydocs' enhanced Digital Records Management (DRM) platform, integrating it seamlessly into its operations.
This collaboration complements Avianca's existing partnerships with flydocs digital tech ops ecosystem members AMOS, a prominent maintenance and engineering software provider and AVIATAR, a platform offering data-driven digital products and services.
Flydocs' Chief Commercial Officer, Andy Smith, highlighted the strategic nature of the partnership and its focus on delivering operational efficiencies, cost savings and enhanced customer satisfaction. He expressed enthusiasm for supporting Avianca's digital transformation through DRM, which will fully digitise the airline's maintenance records and improve operational workflows.
Francisco Lalinde, Avianca's Vice President of Engineering and Maintenance, underscored the airline's commitment to efficiency and sustainability. He noted that the alliance with flydocs will enhance data accuracy, enable real-time information sharing, and streamline compliance management, positioning Avianca for improved operational performance.
This partnership represents a significant step in Avianca's transformation journey, aimed at advancing its digital capabilities and strengthening its leadership in the aviation sector.
