APOC has appointed seasoned senior executive Craig Skilton to head its growing components division. In his new role as VP Components, Skilton will be responsible for increasing APOC's market share across its expanding portfolio.
Though the role is global, Skilton will focus primarily on Europe and the Asia-Pacific region – APOC's two key markets – with particular emphasis on strengthening the company's presence in the UK. He will also work closely with APOC's emergent repairs division as the business shifts from quick-turn sales of repairable and serviceable stock to more valuable components ready for exchange and lease.
Skilton brings with him extensive aviation industry experience. Before joining APOC, he spent a decade at AJW Group, where he played a key role in strategic growth as Head of Business Development before leading the firm's digital initiatives, including AJW's eCommerce platform – Eventory.
After AJW, he founded Digital Flight, a rapidly growing technology hub, and supported SkySelect Inc. – a Silicon Valley-based AI-driven procurement platform for aircraft spares – before returning to the parts trading space through his new position at APOC.
