Bombardier has announced a large-scale expansion of its services and support network across the U.S., in a move designed to meet the growing demand for manufacturer-backed aircraft maintenance and care. The multi-phase, multi-site initiative will roll out over the coming years, targeting both existing operational regions and new strategic locations.
The expansion reflects the rapid growth of Bombardier’s fleet in the U.S. and will involve significant investment in talent recruitment. The company anticipates creating numerous job opportunities, particularly for highly skilled workers, in the regions earmarked for development.
With the Global 8000 aircraft set to enter service later this year and Bombardier’s worldwide fleet expanding steadily, the company is aiming to strengthen its presence in key U.S. hubs to be closer to its customers. The growth plan includes expanding its apprenticeship schemes and community-based talent programmes to accelerate the training and onboarding of Airframe and Powerplant Technicians, alongside other specialist roles.
Bombardier’s U.S. Services division already boasts an extensive infrastructure, with major service centres in Dallas, Tucson, Hartford and Wichita, as well as a facility in Miami Opa Locka opened in 2022. Supporting this network is a parts distribution hub in Chicago and 20 Mobile Response Team bases nationwide, ensuring rapid expert assistance wherever required.
The investment marks one of Bombardier’s most ambitious service expansions in the U.S., signalling both a strategic push to capture growing market demand and a commitment to strengthening customer relationships through faster, more localised support.
