HAECO has renewed its long-term partnership with ASL Airlines Belgium (ASLB) through a new base maintenance agreement that will run from 2026 to 2029. Under the extended deal, HAECO will continue to provide base maintenance services for ASLB’s Boeing 747-400ERF freighter fleet at its facility in Xiamen, China.
The extension reinforces a collaboration that began in 2014, when HAECO first started providing both line and base maintenance for ASLB’s Boeing 747 aircraft. Over the past decade, the partnership has grown to encompass a wide range of technical services, supporting the cargo carrier’s operational reliability across its global network.
ASLB, based at Liège Airport in Belgium, operates Boeing 737 and Boeing 747-400ERF aircraft on routes linking major hubs in Europe, China and the United States. The airline plays a significant role in global cargo transport, and maintaining fleet reliability is critical to its operations. The renewed agreement ensures continued access to HAECO’s technical expertise, operational efficiency and competitive turnaround times, all of which are essential in the fast-moving freight sector.
HAECO’s Xiamen facility is a key location within the company’s global maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) network, offering a full spectrum of services from heavy checks to modifications. The extension with ASLB reflects HAECO’s ability to deliver consistent quality and dependable support, underpinned by a highly skilled workforce and over 75 years of industry experience.
In addition to base maintenance, HAECO will continue providing comprehensive line maintenance for ASLB’s fleet. This ensures optimal dispatch reliability, enabling the airline to meet tight cargo schedules and maintain service commitments to its customers worldwide.
