StandardAero, an independent provider of aerospace engine aftermarket services, including engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and component repair, has announced the induction of its first two Gulfstream aircraft service events at its recently expanded service centre in Augusta, Georgia.
StandardAero held a grand opening ceremony in August 2025 to mark the expansion of its aircraft and engine service centre at Augusta Regional Airport (AGS). The development of the new 80,500 ft² facility included the construction of an aircraft maintenance hangar designed to accommodate super mid-size and large-cabin aircraft, along with an enlarged engine shop to support the site’s expanding Honeywell HTF7000 heavy maintenance operations.
“We take great pride in delivering on our commitments, and we are thrilled to have seen the first couple of Gulfstream aircraft enter our facility and be well on their way to delivery post-service from Augusta,” stated Tony Brancato, President of StandardAero Business Aviation.
The Gulfstream service events comprise one GIV-SP undergoing scheduled inspection items in line with its due list, while a second GIV-SP is receiving an airframe inspection together with the installation of Starlink connectivity.
“We are actively scheduling GIV, G450, GV and G550 service events through 2026 and beyond, with additional model support coming soon.” added Chris Bodine, Vice President and General Manager of StandardAero AGS.
StandardAero provides CompleteCare® support to Gulfstream operators through its network of dedicated Gulfstream service centres in Augusta, Georgia; Springfield, Illinois; and Van Nuys, California. The company also delivers engine and APU support for Gulfstream aircraft, including the Rolls-Royce Tay and BR710, as well as the Honeywell HTF7000 engines and GTCP 36 APUs, either at its facilities or on-wing via StandardAero’s Mobile Service Team (MST).
