Nigerian carrier Air Peace has taken delivery of its first brand-new Embraer E175 jet. The delivery further strengthens the partnership between Embraer and Air Peace alongside the airline’s existing E195-E2 and ERJ145 fleets. The E175 will support the carrier’s plans to expand connectivity across Nigeria and the wider region, providing greater fleet flexibility while reinforcing its position as one of West Africa’s leading airlines.

According to Embraer’s 2026 African Connectivity Report, 55 intra-African city pairs still lack direct air services, up from 45 identified in 2025, highlighting the need for right-sized aircraft such as the E175 to open new routes and improve regional connectivity.

The addition of the E175 is expected to boost Air Peace’s domestic and regional operations through increased frequencies on key Nigerian routes and the launch of services to four additional destinations across Africa. The aircraft also offers improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions, favourable operating economics on thin and medium-density routes, and enhanced passenger comfort.
