TAT Technologies has expanded its partnership with Honeywell Aerospace, becoming the sole global authorised distributor of spare parts for the 331-200/250 auxiliary power unit (APU) platform.
Under the agreement, TAT has also extended its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) licences for the platform until 2036 and acquired three Honeywell Aerospace 131-9A APUs to strengthen its trading and leasing business.
The deal positions TAT as a single-source provider of aftermarket parts and MRO services for the 331-200/250 platform, giving operators, lessors and maintenance providers access to parts supply and repair support through one organisation.
According to the company, the arrangement is intended to simplify maintenance planning, reduce supplier coordination and support faster aircraft returns to service.

Zamir said combining exclusive parts distribution with TAT’s existing MRO capabilities would allow the company to support the platform throughout its operational lifecycle, from spare parts supply to repair and overhaul.
The agreement also broadens TAT’s reach within the global operator community using the Honeywell 331-200/250 APU platform.
