StandardAero has signed a multi-year agreement with aircraft lessor Avolon to provide CFM International LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engine maintenance services for the leasing company’s customers.

The LeaseTEAM agreement gives Avolon non-exclusive access to a range of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for LEAP engines powering Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Avolon’s portfolio includes around 150 delivered A320neo aircraft and 54 737 MAXs.

The agreement is designed to support Avolon’s aircraft and engine leasing activities by providing greater maintenance flexibility and capacity for its airline customers.

Under the deal, Avolon will also be able to extend key benefits to its airline customers, including priority access to engine maintenance slots to help reduce aircraft downtime and fixed-price terms for selected LEAP engine maintenance events.
