ORIX Aviation Systems Limited (ORIX Aviation) has agreed to acquire AerFin Limited, marking its entry into the aviation aftermarket sector. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to complete by the end of 2026.
The acquisition expands ORIX Aviation’s capabilities beyond aircraft leasing and asset management into used serviceable material (USM), airframe and engine parts, strengthening its presence across the full aircraft lifecycle.
Founded in 1991, ORIX Aviation owns and manages aircraft while providing asset management services to Japanese and international investors through its full-service operating lease platform. The addition of AerFin will extend its offering from leasing and asset management to end-of-life aircraft part-out and aftermarket solutions. ORIX Aviation also expects the deal to support AerFin’s continued growth by broadening its customer reach.
Founded in 2010, UK-based AerFin specialises in aircraft and engine disassembly, component management, maintenance, and the sale and lease of serviceable parts. The company supports airlines, maintenance providers and lessors across six continents, drawing on expertise in aircraft acquisition, inspections, inventory management and parts supply.
