Honda Aircraft Company has delivered the first HondaJet Elite II in Brazil after the country’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) validated the type certificate for the latest version of the light business jet.
The certification confirms the Elite II meets Brazilian safety and performance standards and clears the aircraft for registration and operation in the country.
The jet is the latest variant of Honda Aircraft’s light jet family and offers a maximum NBAA IFR range of 1,547 nautical miles. The aircraft also features increased fuel capacity and other performance enhancements, expanding its mission capability and enabling more direct city-pair connections across South America.
The model includes new cockpit automation features aimed at reducing pilot workload, including an autothrottle system that automatically manages engine power to maintain the selected speed while improving operational efficiency and passenger comfort.
The delivery marks the entry of the Elite II into the Brazilian market, one of the largest business aviation markets in Latin America.
