Jordan Airmotive (JALCo) has signed an exclusive five-year agreement with Tunisair Technics covering maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) support for Tunisair’s CFM56-5B engine fleet.

The General Terms Agreement establishes a long-term framework for engine inductions, technical coordination and maintenance planning between the two companies.

Jordan Airmotive chief executive Mahmoud Bashir said the agreement reflected confidence in the company’s CFM56-5B capabilities and would provide a defined structure for supporting Tunisair’s engine maintenance requirements.

“We value our cooperation with Tunisair Technics and look forward to supporting Tunisair’s engine requirements throughout the duration of the agreement,” Bashir said.

Tunisair Technics provides technical and maintenance support for the Tunisian flag carrier’s fleet, while Jordan Airmotive specialises in engine repair and overhaul services.

Jordan Airmotive holds certifications from EASA, the US Federal Aviation Administration and other regulatory authorities. Its current engine capabilities cover the CF6-80C2, CFM56-7B, CFM56-5B and CFM56-3, with LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B support planned for its portfolio.
