He has played an important role in the company’s strong performance and knows our customers, our employees and the global maintenance, repair and overhaul market exceptionally well. The Supervisory Board has full confidence in his ability to lead Lufthansa Technik into its next phase, deliver on the company’s strategy, and further strengthen its position as a global industry leader. I look forward to continuing to work with Harald and the entire Executive Board as he takes on his new role.” commented Grazia Vittadini, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Technik.

Soeren Stark, has served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Technik AG since 2022, having joined the Board as Chief Operating Officer and Accountable Manager in 2019. In 2016, he joined the Executive Board of Lufthansa Cargo as Chief Operating Officer before returning to Lufthansa Technik three years later.

“Soeren Stark has made an outstanding contribution to Lufthansa Technik and the Lufthansa Group over many years. The Supervisory Board is grateful to him for his leadership, under which Lufthansa Technik has set a clear strategic course, strengthened its customer relations and delivered significant growth. As Soeren will continue to lead the company until Harald takes office on February 1, 2027, I look forward to working closely with both of them to ensure continuity and a smooth transition,” Grazia Vittadini added.
