Veryon, a provider of aviation software solutions, has acquired Polaris Aero, a company specialising in aviation safety management software. Founded in 2007, the company provides safety management solutions to aircraft operators and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers worldwide.
The acquisition adds more than 200 customers to Veryon’s portfolio and strengthens its position in the aviation maintenance software market. Polaris Aero’s VOCUS SMS, FlightRisk and GroundRisk products help corporate flight departments, charter operators and MRO providers manage compliance, assess risk and improve operational safety.
The deal also combines Polaris Aero’s extensive safety information with Veryon’s dataset of more than 100 million maintenance events. The expanded data will enhance the accuracy and reach of Veryon AIRE, its AI-powered intelligence platform, giving operators more precise insights into safety risks and maintenance requirements.
Veryon Chief Executive Officer, Bethany Little, welcomed the addition of Polaris Aero’s proven safety solutions to the company’s software suite.
