Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has appointed Eléonore Tramus as chief executive of CRMA Aero Repair, effective immediately, as the engine component repair specialist looks to expand its capabilities.
CRMA is one of AFI KLM E&M’s centres of excellence for engine component repair.
Tramus began her career at Safran Aircraft Engines and joined the Air France-KLM Group in 2010. She has since held leadership roles across the group’s airline and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations.
At AFI KLM E&M, she served as director of Engines Product Network and Development, where she worked on engine repair development and product strategy, including projects involving CRMA.
She later held strategic, commercial and operational positions within Air France-KLM’s airline operations, including director of Asia MEGI network planning. Most recently, she was general manager for the East Mediterranean region, covering Italy, Greece, Turkey and Israel, based in Rome.
In her new role, Tramus will work with CRMA’s teams to expand the company’s repair capabilities, with a particular focus on industrialising repair solutions for LEAP engine components and responding to customer demand.
The expansion supports AFI KLM E&M’s strategy of reducing engine maintenance costs by increasing the use of repair solutions as an alternative to replacing components.
