Werner Aero has acquired an Airbus A319-100, MSN 2897, its third aircraft acquisition in August, and delivered it to eCube Solutions in St Athan, Wales, for entry into the company’s aircraft teardown programme.
The acquisition brings Werner Aero’s total aircraft acquisitions to 16 and the number of aircraft placed into its teardown programme to 14 through August 2026.
The company said the latest acquisition reflects continued activity in the aviation aftermarket and aircraft lifecycle management sector.
Werner Aero is expanding its presence in the aviation aftermarket, supporting the transition of aircraft from service to teardown, parts recovery and material reuse.
