AJW Group has signed a six-year Power-by-the-Hour (PBH) support agreement with Sun PhuQuoc Airways to support the Vietnamese carrier’s expanding Airbus A330 fleet as it develops medium- and long-haul operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways plans to introduce its A330 fleet in phases, with the first two aircraft entering service this month. The airline expects the fleet to grow to as many as 15 A330s by 2030 as it expands its long-haul network.
The agreement extends a partnership established earlier this year, when AJW Group signed a long-term PBH and Main Base Kit agreement covering the carrier’s Airbus A320 family fleet.
Under the latest agreement, AJW Group will provide PBH support for the A330 fleet, including component availability during the aircraft induction programme and technical and supply-chain support aimed at maintaining operational performance.
The introduction of the A330s will allow Sun PhuQuoc Airways to serve longer-haul markets and broaden its international network.
