Pratt & Whitney has named Amy Comer President of its Military Engines business, effective January 1, 2027, as the RTX unit prepares for a leadership change.
Comer will succeed Jill Albertelli, who was recently named Pratt & Whitney President following Shane Eddy’s retirement at the end of the year. Pratt & Whitney is part of RTX.
Comer has more than 20 years’ experience in engineering and programme management, supporting the development and sustainment of military and commercial product lines. She currently serves as Vice President of Pratt & Whitney’s GTF engine business.
“Amy is a trusted leader with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of disciplined execution for our customers,” Eddy said. He added that she would build on Albertelli’s work and help ensure Pratt & Whitney continues to provide advanced propulsion systems for the US services and allied forces.
