SR Technics has completed the rollout of Bridgestone Corporation’s (Bridgestone) easytrack solution, becoming the first MRO provider to adopt the technology, the company announced.
The implementation follows a two-year joint project and extends a partnership between SR Technics Spain SAU and Bridgestone that dates back to 1999.
The technology has replaced a largely manual process with a digital workflow covering logistics, planning and inventory management. It was first introduced at SR Technics Spain’s Mallorca base before being expanded to Madrid and is now integrated across stores and wheel shop operations at both sites.
SR Technics said the system has cut processing times by 45%, while improving planning, efficiency and data accuracy and reducing manual administrative work.
The company said the technology also provides greater traceability across operations, allowing staff to track workflows and inventory through a single system.
